Grand Goombas reappear in the game ''[[New Super Mario Bros. Wii]]''. Here, when jumped on they split into two Hefty Goombas. A smaller species called [[Hefty Goomba]]s also appear and are smaller than a Grand Goomba. When a Hefty Goomba is jumped on, it splits into two standard Goombas.
