Monty Mole, Mario Party Advance

Monty Mole is a character that is based on the species of the same name who appears exclusively in Mario Party Advance. The Monty Mole has a habit of making dirt-related puns, such as using the phrase "down-to-earth" on multiple occasions. According to his description, the Monty Mole loves to play games, but he dislikes losing his money in the process.

When he is first encountered, the Monty Mole happily states that the Town Game Room A has much more to win than Town Game Room B, but quickly asks for the player's help afterwards. If the player refuses to help, the Monty Mole will start crying and claim that he is finished, but if the player agrees to help, this initiates the quest Winners Keepers.

In the Winners Keepers quest, Monty Mole explains that he's fallen into a slump after playing the games for a while, and hopes that having the player win the game will end his slump. In exchange, the player is able to keep the minigame the Monty Mole keeps losing at, which is Scratch 'Em. Once the player has won, Monty Mole is confident that his slump is over, thanks to the player's victory. The Monty Mole then encourages the player by saying that they might even outgame the Kamek himself.

The ending of the game states that the Monty Mole would give up the games and get himself hitched instead.
