The Banjo-Kazooie series is a series of titles starring Banjo and Kazooie, owned by Rare Ltd., which itself is owned by Microsoft Corporation. The character of Banjo debuted in Diddy Kong Racing, and then went on to spawn in his own series of games. Despite an absence from Nintendo consoles for 14 years, Banjo and Kazooie managed to return for a crossover appearance in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate.
