Dennis Lee Hopper (May 17, 1936 - May 29, 2010) was an American Actor. He is known for portraying President Koopa, the main antagonist of the Super Mario Bros. film. He is also known for his roles in Apocalypse Now (1979), Rumble Fish (1983), and Speed (1994). Dennis Hopper was also a painter, and his works have been exhibited around the world. In August 2010, a few months after Hopper's death, the Super Mario Bros. film received a DVD re-release in commemoration of him.
