After defeating the challengers of [[Pokémon Stadium]], the [[player]] will find themselves stampeding across this race track in the Grand Prix. Being a race track, F-Zero racers will occasionally zoom through this course, potentially doing severe damage. If the player is lucky, they will find one of several floating platforms that they can leap to for safety.

Somewhere towards the end of the course, the player will use platforms to jump across a large gap in the race track. Since F-Zero racers only hover about a foot over the ground, the hovercars will fly right above the player, rather than under them. After finishing the "race", the player will fight Captain Falcon in Mute City.
Big Blue also appears in Adventure Mode, where the player has to run across the Big Blue race track, while avoiding the F-Zero racers that pass by. Luckily, there are platforms that the player can jump on, which will protect him/her from the racers.

Big Blue. The Falcon Flyer can be seen.

Big Blue is a race track of the F-Zero Grand Prix. It has gone down as probably the second most famous track in F-Zero history, losing only to Mute City. It also appears as an unlockable stage in Super Smash Bros. Melee.

The stage is side-scrolling, and the fight takes place on top of the F-Zero gliders. Players have to be cautious not to hit the ground, as they would be KOed instantly when standing on it. There are also numerous platforms that pass by, so players can head up on them to rest a bit. However, it is easier to get attacked by other players when on the platforms. The fight starts on the Falcon Flyer, the personal spacecraft of Captain Falcon.

It is unlocked by playing 150 Vs Matches in total. The player would even be rewarded the F-Zero Racers Trophy after unlocking the Stage.

There is an alternate track to Big Blue. It is the theme for Mach Rider, another futuristic racing game for the NES.
