The Blue Falcon returns in ''Mario Kart 8'' with the purchase of one of the Add-on Packs set to release November 2014 and May 2015. Unlike ''Mario Kart Wii'', the color of the Blue Falcon does not change according to the character, but the logo changes, Making the Blue Falcon the first DLC vehicle to be ported from [[Mario Kart Wii]] and the only vehicle known so far to appear in "The Legend of Zelda x Mario Kart 8" DLC pack. [[Dry Bowser]] is also the only DLC character not an Animal Crossing character to be ported from [[Mario Kart Wii]], and to reappear in the "Animal Crossing: New Leaf x Mario Kart 8" DLC Pack
