'''Brinstar''' is one of the main planets in the Metroid series, of which [[Samus Aran]] is the main character. It appears as as a stage in [[Super Smash Bros. Melee]] with two substages - the lava-filled [[Planet Zebes]] and the rotating [[Brinstar Depths]]. A creature from Metroid - [[Kraid]] inhabited Brinstar Depths, and the [[Chozo Statue]] would rise to life occasionally on the Planet Zebes.
