A '''Cloaking Device''' is an item in the game ''[[wikipedia:Perfect Dark|Perfect Dark]]''. It is also used as a helpful item in ''[[Super Smash Bros. Melee]]''. If a player picks it up, it turns him/her almost completely invisible for a short amount of time, although s/he/she sometimes flashes back into visibility for a split-second. The player has to be careful because s/he/she can lose track of his/her own invisible character. There is a special Invisible Melee mode in which all players have on unlimited-time Cloaking Devices until the end of the match or matches.
