'''Darknuts''' are enemies from the ''Legend of Zelda'' series, debuting in the original ''[[ZeldaWiki:The Legend of Zelda (Game)|Legend of Zelda]]''. They appear in the Smash Run mode of ''[[Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS / Wii U|Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS]]'' as enemies. They take their design from ''[[ZeldaWiki:The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess|The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess]]''. They are armed with a sword for attacking and a shield for blocking attacks. After receiving enough damage, it will lose some of it's armor.
A Darknut has also made a cameo appearance in a ''[[Super Mario-Kun]]'' issue, as seen in this [[:File:Darknut SuperMarioKun 4.jpg|scan]].
