Dr. Wright is a character from the Super Nintendo version of SimCity.
His first connection with the Marioverse was only minor; he appeared as a Trophy in Super Smash Bros. Melee.
However, he will soon have a bigger role, as he has been confirmed to be an Assist Trophy in upcoming Super Smash Bros. Brawl. He will appear at his Assist Trophy's opening, and suddenly cause skyscrapers to rise from the sky. Any players standing above the skyscraper's rising point will be sent flying.
