Forums: Index → Help desk → Too many Wikipedia imports

I personally think that too many Wikipedia templates and modules are being imported. Too many templates nested within another for something ostensibly as simple as a block notice (e.g. {{Uw-block}}). I'm not necessarily asking what can and cannot be deleted, but @DarkMatterMan4500: would it be ok if I simplify the coding for like the checkuser templates and get rid of several unnecessary modules and templates nested within? This could help make things easier if we were to add these to other wikis. I suppose one thing is though that if something did get deleted it could possibly be imported again by accident Bawitdaba (talk) 01:14, May 21, 2022 (UTC)

A lot of these have very complex coding that might be a bit much even for me to figure out, hence the overkill of importing, so I suppose it's understandable why you ended up importing a lot. I wish they made these simpler. Bawitdaba (talk) 14:36, May 21, 2022 (UTC)
