Fourside is a place in the EarthBound series. It also appears as an unlockable stage in Super Smash Bros. Melee. The stage is set high on the skyscrapers of Fourside. Players have to be careful not to fall into the gaps between the buildings. It had a giant U.F.O that would occasionally show up on screen, and players could jump on top of the U.F.O. It is, however, very slippery, and will disappear over a period of time. Also, there is a crane on the left side of the stage which is holding a wooden board. Occasionally, the board will be moved over the gap on the side, and players could fight safely a top the gap.
The stage could be unlocked by playing 100 matches in VS mode.
Trivia
- Fourside's name comes from its being the fourth town that Ness visits in EarthBound (where it initially appeared), as all EarthBound world names come from the number of world they were chronologically traversed in the game.
