A Heart Container is an item in the Legend of Zelda series also used in the Super Smash Bros. series.

In Super Smash Bros., Heart Containers healed all damage, returning the player's damage meter to 0%.

In Super Smash Bros. Melee, they were toned down a bit, instead healing 100% points of of damage. However, the three Heart Containers seen in the All-Star mode still healed all percent of damage.

Trophy Information
