The '''Homerun Bat''' is an item used in the Earthbound sieries. They are also used as a powerful item in the Super Smah Bros. sieries. If the player were to press A near one of these, the player would pick it up, and the only ways get rid of it are Z, and C stick. If the person were to press A around another player, the character would swing the bat to hurt the other character. If the player were to press A and >, or <, at exactly the same time they would be able to hit another player hard enough to easily knock him\her off the screen. This a good way to get really far on the [[Homerun Contest]].
