The stage can be compared with [[Hyrule Temple]] from ''[[Super Smash Bros. Melee]]'', in the fact that its size and blockades allow players to run and hide from their opponents with incredible ease. A creature called the [[Ultimate Chimera]] will act as a gimmick in the stage. When it hits a player, that will result in an instant KO, no matter how healthy the player is. A statue of Pokey Minch, [[Ness]]'s rival and ''Mother 3's'' main antagonist, can be seen in the right side of New Pork City. Its possible that it will appear as a secret stage due to the Ultmate Chimera may appear as a trophy.
