Onett is Ness' hometown, and starting point in the game Earthbound. Like the Pokémon games, Ness can stop by at his house, and see his mother. It was also a stage in Super Smash Bros. Melee. It is a default stage, and is the home stage to Ness. As such, all 1-P mode battles involving Ness are fought here. This includes Classic, Adventure and All-Star.
