They are essentially Piranha Plants with wings, similar to [[Paragoomba]]s or [[Paratroopa]]s. Para-Piranha Plants can be created by attaching wings to normal Piranha Plants. They can be defeated by getting hit with a fireball or a Koopa Shell. If placed in a Warp Pipe, they may leap out and hover for a while before retreating into the Pipe, similar to the [[Jumping Piranha Plant]]. |

Para-Piranha Plants are a sub-species of Piranha Plants that make their debut in Super Mario Maker. They are essentially Piranha Plants with wings, similar to Paragoombas or Paratroopas. Para-Piranha Plants can be created by attaching wings to normal Piranha Plants. They can be defeated by getting hit with a fireball or a Koopa Shell. If placed in a Warp Pipe, they may leap out and hover for a while before retreating into the Pipe, similar to the Jumping Piranha Plant.
