Poison Podoboos (also called Purple Podoboos or Poison Bubbles) are enemies introduced in the version 3.0.4 update of Super Mario Run. They appear exclusively in Spike Bar Jungle, where they behave and attack identically to Podoboos, the only difference being that Poison Podoboos rise from and fall into Poison Water instead of Lava. Like Podoboos, Poison Podoboos can be defeated when a character is invincible after using a Super Star.
