'''Pokémon''' are a group of species with at least 386 members in the ''Pokémon'' Series that have unique abilities. There are different elemental types of Pokémon, each element affects what the Pokémon's attacks, abilities and weaknessess are. For example, [[Pikachu]] being an Electric Pokémon can use electrical attacks and is weak against Ground Pokémon. Another factor that separates Pokémon from traditional animals is that after meeting certain conditions, the Pokémon Evolves into a new Pokémon. For example, [[Pichu]] evolves into Pikachu. Pokémon live in the wild, but are caught by Pokémon Trainers to have as pets or battle with other Pokémon for sport.
