Port Town Aero Dive (Japanese: ポートタウン エアロダイブ Pōtotaun Earodaibu, shortened to Port Town in European translations) is ana recurring location in the F-Zero stageseries basedand uponCaptain theFalcon's trackhome variationtown inappearing F-Zeroa GXstage in Super Smash Bros. Brawl, acting as Captain Falcon's home stage, and is set to returnreturning in Super Smash Bros. for NintendoWii 3DSU, /based Wiiupon U|Superthe Smashtrack Bros.variation forin WiiF-Zero GX. It is very similar to Mute City from Super Smash Bros. Melee, as the stage is merely a group of platforms hovering across an F-Zero race course at high speeds. Like Mute City, the platforms will eventually stop, forcing the players to fight on the race course, rather than the platforms. Occasionally, the platforms will hover off the track itself, but it will eventually come back to the track. F-Zero Racers will sometimes drive past the fighters while they are on the track and can run into them to damage them, just like in Mute City. However, unlike in Mute City, the F-Zero Racers on this stage can't be attacked, and they can easily KO at below 100% damage.
