Line 9:
Rayquaza is a legendary Pokémon in the Pokémon series. It is the mascot of the game Pokémon Emerald Version. It appears in the Subspace Emissary story of Super Smash Bros. Brawl.

During the events of the story, it suddenly emerges from a lake after hearing Diddy Kong, who had been looking at the nearly- destroyed Arwing nearby. It attacks the Arwing with Dragon Pulse and snatches Diddy in hisit claws. Diddy screams for help, whereas Fox McCloud, who managed to escape the damaged Arwing, leaps from the Arwing, and breaks Diddy free of Rayquaza's grasp using Fox Illusion. Rayquaza, furious, ends up using Dragon Pulse on McCloud, who deflects it with Reflector, flinging it back at Rayquaza, who falls back into the lake.

McCloud and Diddy engage in a fight with Rayquaza, resulting as the second main boss of the Subspace Emissary. Some of its attacks involve burrowing into the ground, and then bursting upwards. It'll will also fly with great speed horizontally over the stage and will sometimes drop a Thunder attack. The player can beat it by attacking it around the head. When Rayquaza uses Dragon Pulse, the player can use Fox's Reflector to counter it.

Although Rayquaza doesn'tdoes not appear to have any connections with the Subspace Army, it is fought again in The Great Maze.

Line 43:
*Rayquaza never interacted with anyone from its own series, which is something that Petey Piranha, Porky, and Ridley did.
*Interestingly enough, the move "Dragon Pulse" (a Dragon-type special attack in the Pokémon games) is super effective (x2 damage) on Rayquaza (being a Dragon/Flying-type), which explains the reason why Rayquaza fainted when being hit by it.
**Strangely, Rayquaza doesn'tdoes not take much damage from Ice-related attacks in Super Smash Bros. Brawl. In the Pokémon RPGs, Ice-type attacks inflict 4x their normal damage on Rayquaza.
**In a similar manner, Rayquaza seems to take more damage from Darkness-based attacks than from most other attacks. Rayquaza only takes neutral damage from Dark-type attacks in the Pokémon RPGs.
*In the Pokémon series, Rayquaza does not hide in a lake. It actually lives in the ozone layer, and protects the Pokémon planet from various objects, such as meteors.
