[[Image:Powershield.jpg|thumb|Link shielding.]]A '''Shield''' is an ability in Both ''[[Super Smash Bros.]]'' games. It is easily done by pressing the R button. The player will then have a red circle around them, protecting them from attacks. There are some attacks/items that can "Break" a shield though. If a player has the shield on for too long, then the player will brake their own shield, causing him/her to be confused. They will not move for a couple of seconds, allowing other players to attack them. There is a way to "Roll" with a shield, by tilting the control stick right or left while in shield mode. It hasn't been said yet, however it is VERY likely that it will reapear in ''[[Super Smash Bros. Brawl]]''. |
