The '''Smart Bomb''' is an item found in all five ''Star Fox'' games, and is scheduled to appear in ''[[Super Smash Bros. Brawl]]''. When usedthe item is thrown, it will explode on the Smartspot, Bombdamaging willany hoverplayers innearby. However, the airshockwave wherefrom itthe hasexplosion beenexpands thrownafter tobeing detonated, thenand explodecan andeven destroyhurt anythingthe inuser, itsif reachthey're close enough. However, on occasion, the fullSmart extentBomb ofwill fail to explode, and will simply lie on the Smartground Bomb'suntil, powerfinally, isit currentlyunexplodes unknownunexpectedly. Unlike in the actual Star Fox games, the Smart Bomb does not seem to possess the ability to home into the opponent in ''Super Smash Bros. Brawl''.
