The Smash Ball is an item in Super Smash Bros. Brawl. In order to use its powers, the players have to actually attack the Smash Ball and break it open before use. This means they have to both attack the Smash Ball, while at the same time, stopping the opponent from collecting the Smash Ball. By collecting it, the player can trigger the character's Final Smash move. To activate the Smash Ball, simply press B without any directional input. The item itself is an emblem of the Super Smash Bros. series. After collecting the Smash Ball, the player's character will have a red aura around them.
