A '''Timer''' is an item in ''[[Super Smash Bros. Brawl]]'' and later appears in ''[[Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS / Wii U]]'' and the upcoming ''[[Super Smash Bros. Ultimate]]''. The player can pick up this item to slow down the flow of time for all other players for a short time. Occasionally, the Timer has a different effect and only slows down the one who grabbed it, or it may slow down everyone. In ''Super Smash Bros.
