In ''Stage 3: [[Underground Maze]]'', the player explores the Underground Maze, searching for the Triforce. It is located on one of six podiums hidden in the maze. If they come across the wrong one, they end up fighting one of five [[Link]]s. Once the Triforce was found, the player fought [[Princess Zelda]] at the [[Temple (stage)|Temple]].
The Triforce is also used to act as ''The Legend of Zelda''{{'}}s emblem, representing Link, Zelda, [[Young Link]], [[Toon Link]], and [[Ganondorf]], next to their character portrait. The Triforce is also shown in the [[Triforce Slash]] in ''[[Super Smash Bros.
