The '''Warp Star''' is a common item in the [[wikirby:Kirby (series)|''Kirby'' series]]. It first appears in the [[Mario (franchise)|''Mario'' franchise]]-related games as an item in the ''[[Super Smash Bros. (series)|Super Smash Bros.]]'' series, starting with ''[[Super Smash Bros. Melee]]''. When a character grabs one, it takes its rider flying into the air, and then crashes down to the ground, making an explosion that damages other players (except the player who used the Warp Star).
