Like in ''Super Smash Bros.'', Whispy Woods will attempt to blow players off the stage. Whispy also gains a new attack in ''Super Smash Bros. Melee''; he can shake himself violently and fling [[apple]]s at characters.
In ''[[Super Smash Bros. Brawl]]'', Whispy Woods returns in the background of the Green Greens stage, serving the same purpose as he did in ''Melee''.
In ''[[Super Smash Bros. for Wii U]]'', Whispy Woods once again appears as a trophy as well as reappearing on the Dream Land (64) DLC stage for both the Wii U and [[Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS|3DS]] versions.
