In ''The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess'', [[Link]] can target an Aeralfos's shield using the [[Clawshot]] to drag it to the ground. If done successfully, the Clawshot pulls the Aeralfos to the ground, leaving it open for attack, but if done unsuccessfully, the Aeralfos performs a dive attack at Link. If Link throws a [[Gale Boomerang]] at an Aeralfos while it is airborne, it raises its shield in self-defense, making it vulnerable to the Clawshot.
