The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess artwork

Aeralfos is a flying variant of Lizalfos. It first appears in The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess, but has appeared in a few other The Legend of Zelda titles. An Aeralfos is armed with a sword and a shield, and its battle cries are similar to that of a jaguar growl.

In The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess, Link can target an Aeralfos's shield using the Clawshot to drag it to the ground. If done successfully, the Clawshot pulls the Aeralfos to the ground, leaving it open for attack, but if done unsuccessfully, the Aeralfos performs a dive attack at Link. If Link throws a Gale Boomerang at an Aeralfos while it is airborne, it raises its shield in self-defense, making it vulnerable to the Clawshot.
