In light of the souring conditions on the [[Shroob Planet]], the [[Shroob]]s, led by [[Elder Princess Shroob]] and [[Princess Shroob]], plot to invade and destroy the [[Mushroom Kingdom]] in order to create a kingdom of their own in ''[[Mario & Luigi: Partners in Time]]''. Their first target is [[Princess Peach's Castle|Baby Peach's Castle]]. By coincidence, [[Baby Bowser]] is also planning his first attack on the kingdom to kidnap Baby Peach. Just as Baby Mario and Baby Luigi arrive for a play date, he breaks into the castle. He defeats Baby Bowser, saving her from the attack.

Baby Peach, although only a baby, still maintains the majestic qualities of Princess Peach. She has red shoes and white socks. She keeps the same hot pink color of Peach, although Baby Peach's dress is a lot shorter and a little less detailed. Instead of going down to her feet, it ends in a mini-skirt style, and her pink diaper can be seen right below. She has a rich shade of blonde yellow hair, and it is a little shorter than her older counterpart. Her eyes are a light shade of blue like Peach's, and she sucks on a pink pacifier. Even at this young age, she has a sapphire necklace and a golden crown with rubies and blue jewels in it. Baby Mario is jealous of that crown, because all he gets is a red hat and overalls. In ''Mario Kart'' though be careful, Baby Peach may be cute on the track, but she won't hold back from squishing you with a Mega Mushroom or another deadly Item!
