Beehives are the places where Bees live. Beehives first appeared in Yoshi's Story, where if a Yoshi got close to one the Bees would stop his way. Yoshi had to walk quietly past the Bees so he wouldn’t bother them.

Beehives appeared in Super Mario Sunshine where the Bees would only get angry if Mario sprayed their Beehives. The Beehive would fall down and the Bees would attack Mario.
