Xenoblade is a sub-series of the Xeno RPG franchise, created by Nintendo subsidiary Monolith Soft. Elements from its first game, Xenoblade Chronicles, have appeared alongside Mario franchise elements in Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS / Wii U, most notably protagonist Shulk as a playable character.
