A '''Cloaking Device''' is an item in the game, Perfect Dark. It is also used as a helpful item in the game, ''[[Super Smash Bros. Melee]]''. If a player were to press A while near a Cloaking Device, it would turn the player invisible for a short amount of time. The player is not completely invisible, and sometimes the player will even flash to regular for a little bit. The only bad thing about this item is that sometimes the player cannot see himself.

| ''This state-of-the-art camouflage device bends light rays in such a way that players using it appear almost invisible. The device fosters confusion, and players using it will not take damage while cloaked. This does not mean, however, that players become invulnerable, so they can still be sent reeling or flying across the screen, depending on their damage percentages.''
