'''Dr. Thomas Light''' is a character from the ''[[Wikipedia:{{wp|Mega Man}}'' (series). He attended the same university as [[Dr. Wily|MegaAlbert ManW. Wily]]'' series, and is the creator of [[Mega Man]] and various other robot characters. In the ''[[Mario (seriesfranchise)|Mario]]'' seriesfranchise, he serves as [[Mario]]'s family doctor, and in general as a knowledgeable man to ask for help. Appearing in three ''[[Club Nintendo (magazine)|Club Nintendo]]'' comics, Light's various inventions and troubleshootings differ a lot in their efficiency.

Dr. Light's makes his debut in the ''Mario'' series wasfranchise in the ''[[Club Nintendo (magazine)|Club Nintendo]]'' magazine comic, "[[Super Mario: Die Verwandlung]]." Mario calls him for help when one day he finds that his body became pixelated over night. In this comicappearance, Dr. Light is highlyportrayed absentmindedmuch asdifferently he persistently confuses Mario with [[Link]]. Moreover, his plan to cure Mario by doubling and then merging him fails, even resulting infrom the creation''Mega ofMan'' [[Wario]]games: in fact. However, at the end of the story, ithe is duealso toa himplastic thatsurgeon Marioas returns to his normal statewell, as he asks Mario and Wariois tohighly press the Select buttons of their [[Super Nintendo Entertainment System|SNES]] controllers simultaneously, which worksabsentminded. Later in the story, the power of Kamek's broom makesshrinks him and Mario shrink to a tiny size., and they are eaten by [[Yoshi]]. swallows them, which leadsDr. Light (aftertries ato failedfree attemptthem toby flipflipping Yoshi over and shakeshaking him; inwhen orderthat tofails, makehe him spit Mario and Kamek out) to the ideatheorizes that Yoshi layingcould lay an [[Yoshi Egg|egg]] couldcontaining bringboth Mario and Kamek back to light.
