The Dragoon is a legendary air ride machine from Kirby Air Ride, appearing as an item in Super Smash Bros. Brawl, Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS / Wii U, and Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. BrokenIt intois threebroken parts, and thecollected playersin havethree toparts collect- Dragoonthe Partnosecone, Ahull, theand noseconetail, Dragoonreferred Partto B,as theparts hullA, B, and DragoonC, Partrespectively. CNotably, the tail. The Smash Ball cannotwill coexistnot appear with all three of the Dragoon parts in play., Oncethough theonce Smash Ballit is used up while one or two Dragoon parts are in play, the remaining part(s) can be allowed to appear. Any player can collect any of the three parts of the ship, but when one player has all three at the same time, they can use it to crash into the stage, knocking out all players who are hit by the Dragoon. When players are damaged while holding the Dragoon parts, they may lose a part, meaning that an opponent can easily snag a lost part. The Dragoon parts don't always appear in every single match. When playing a team battle in Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS / Wii U, unlike in Super Smash Bros. Brawl, if both players on a team collect all three Dragoon parts, the player who collected the final piece for their team is able to use the Dragoonagain.

Any player can collect Dragoon parts, though once a player has all three pieces at one time, they are able to finish assembling the Dragoon, and can then use it to aim and launch into opponents in the battlefield, damaging and potentially knocking them out. However, other variables and factors near these fighters, such as walls and invincibility, may prevent this. If a player is damaged while in possession of a Dragoon part, it is often dropped, allowing a rival to collect the part instead. The Dragoon parts appear rarely and one at a time.
Anyone hit by the Dragoon almost always are KO'd, but certain factors (such as walls, metallic, invincibility, etc.) might prevent the targets from getting KO'd.

During a team battle in Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS / Wii U, unlike in Super Smash Bros. Brawl, if both players on a team collect all three Dragoon parts, the player who collects the last required piece is the one to use the Dragoon. In Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, the Dragoon also appears as a Spirit.

Role in theThe Subspace Emissary
In the Subspace Emissary (the Super Smash Bros. Brawls storyAdventure mode)Mode: The Subspace Emissary, the Dragoon appearsmakes onceone appearance, and actsacting similar to the Warp Star (as Kirby's vehicle). InDuring the scene whenin which Ganondorf and Bowser have just blewblown up the Halberd, after the explosion happens, almost all of the heroes of the game arrive in their respective ships (Fox McCloud in his Arwing, Samus in her ship, Olimar in his ship, and everyone else in Captain Falcon's ship). They all continue shootingfiring at the enemy ship andas the enemy's ship alsoit fires back. However, theas enemy's ship is so large that, the aircrafts doare not do much damageable to theinflict largeenough shipdamage. Just when it seems the heroes are losingthen, Kirby comes flying inarrives on thehis Dragoon and flies straight atinto the ship's cannon. He flies, throughblowing it, destroying the cannon in an explosionup. The other ships thenresume keep firing at the shipfire and soon, eventually theburst wholeit ship is oninto flames. However, Ganondorf and Bowser leave into the Subspace right before the whole ship explodes.
