Frigate Orpheon
Frigate Orpheon is the name of the first ship Samus infiltrates in Metroid Prime, as well as a stage in Super Smash Bros. Brawl. The Parasite Queen, the first boss of Metroid Prime, appears in the background. Acting as a quite small and simplistic stage, it is made up of one long platform, with another smaller platform hovering above on one side, and another that moves up and down. On occasion, the lights in the ship will go off, leaving the players blinded, with only the platform lights to guide the way. Another gimmick is the stage's occasional rotation. Every now and then, after the siren goes off, the platforms will flip 180 degrees, causing any player on the stage to fall. However, the players don't move with the stage, but have to try and stay in the air as the second platform appears. The second platform is just as long, but with a smaller platform hovering in the middle, not the side, and two platforms hovering beneath the main platform. These two lower platforms periodically move off-screen.
