The Green Hill Zone also appears in ''[[Super Smash Bros. Brawl]]'' as a unlockable stage. It is automatically unlocked when the player unlocks [[Sonic the Hedgehog]]. In the stage background, [[Miles "Tails" Prower]], [[Knuckles the Echidna]], and [[Silver the Hedgehog]] often appear running around the loop. If the terrain is attacked too often, a section of it will collapse, but it can eventually repair itself.▼
