Halberd
The title of this article is conjectural; an official name for the article's subject has not been found, so it has been given a fitting title by the editors. If an official name is found that is not from the English Super Mario Bros. Encyclopedia or the English Mario Portal, the article should be moved to the correct name.
Halberd is one of the new stages for Super Smash Bros. Brawl. The Halberd ship as been confirmed to be Meta Knight's, from the Kirby series, stage. It is first appeared in Kirby SuperStar for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System, in the mini-game called Revenge of Meta-Knight.
As seen in a few trailers, the Halberd stage takes place on a battlefield, comparable in design to Dream Land or Smashville. However, it eventually lands on the Halberd itself, and a standard battle takes place here. However, not much else is known about the stage, at this point.
The Halberd also appears in the "Subspace Emissary" story of Super Smash Bros. Brawl. There, it is being piloted by Ancient Minister and the Subspace Army, who attempt to destroy "This World", and pull it into Subspace.
The Halberd is named after the creator of the Kirby series and Super Smash Bros. series, HAL Labs.
