(That was not theorized, Masahiro Sakurai did said this in his Awards Ceremony & Developer Discussion that he does not add any non-video game originated characters in SSB franchise like Goku, Iron Man, SpongeBob, Shrek, etc. Mickey, Donald, & Goofy are counted. There's still some articles that Kingdom Hearts players that have no idea about SSB & why Sakurai replaces the three iconic Disney characters in the Mural. KH is currently the only franchise in SSB with ties to non-video game characters.)

Hollow Bastion is an upcominga downloadable stage in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, set to releasereleased on October 18, 2021 along with Sora. It is set on a platform that floats around the Hollow Bastion castle from the Kingdom Hearts franchise. The stage was announced on the same day as Sora, on October 5, 2021.

The platform begins at Rising Falls before floating towards the castle. Different characters, locations and miscellaneous references to the Kingdom Hearts series appear in the background of the stage. If either time is running low in the battle or a player has a low stock count, the stage transitions into a different, darker environment with the background featuring murals of characters from the series. This second part of the stage is based on the "Dive to the Heart" realm from the series.

Trivia
*The murals in the Hollow Bastion stage use the similar Mural designs from the Kingdom Hearts franchise. However, in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Donald Duck, Goofy, and Mickey Mouse are removed from Sora's and Riku's mural due to Masahiro Sakurai only keeps video game originated characters in the Super Smash Bros. franchise.
