Kackles are ghostly, skeletal Kremling enemies in Donkey Kong Country 2: Diddy's Kong Quest, in which they appear in only one level, Haunted Hall. Like Kloaks, Kackles do not have legs, and instead hover in midair as a way to move around. Each Kackle wears an eyepatch and a bandanna, most frequently depicted as blue.

Along with Kloak and skeletal Kritters, Kackle was a pirate Kremling lived in the time of the Kremling Kuthroats class and resided on town even in death.<ref>Donkey Kong Country 2: Diddy's Kong Quest Player's Guide, Nintendo, 1995, p. 20 - "GLOOMY GULCH: Don't count on meeting another living soul in this dilapidated ghost town, where even the ropes fade in and out of existence like phantoms. The first Kackle area contains mostly Plus Barrels and a few Minus Barrels. The second Kackle area only contains Plus Barrels. The third Kackle area only contains Minus Barrels, but the timer is longer than in the other sections to compensate for the lack of Plus Barrels. The fourth and final Kackle area has Plus Barrels and Minus Barrels often placed near each other, requiring the Kongs to time their jumps to avoid touching a Minus Barrel.

In the ending's cast of characters, Kackles are classified under the "Kremling Kuthroats" class.
