Lover's Pond is a location in The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. It is a legendary heart shaped pond located on the peak of Tuft Mountain that overlooks Lurelin Village in the southeastern corner of Hyrule within the portion of East Necluda that overlaps into the province of Faron.

The pond is popular among people seeking love due to legends that state those who find it will find their true love, however some mistake the broken heart-shaped pond on Ebon Mountain for Lover's Pond and it is suggested that it may have the opposite effect or simply those that mistake it for Lover's Pond are left broken hearted and may come to doubt the legend and never find the true Lover's Pond because they stop looking assuming it is just a myth. The first volume of Traysi's Rumor Mill located at Enchanted in Kakariko Village mentions Lover's Pond and Trasyi gives the rumor a maximum five star recommendation rating which is not surprising as she mentions in a Super Rumor Mill article that her dream is that a Royal Knight would sweep her off her feet when Hyrule monarchy is restored showing she is a romantic at heart. Additionally the Pond is quite well known among the Gerudo some of whom search for it to find their soulmate and a map drawing of it is affixed to the chalkboard in Ashai's relationship classroom in the soldiers' barracks in Gerudo Town indicating its location is apparently well known to the Gerudo. Presumably Ashai teaches her students about the pond and legends relating to it.

Link can find the Gerudo Perda and male Hylian Wabbin both in search of love though Perda waits for Wabbin to make the first move however he is nervous forcing Link to help Wabbin through the Side Quest "A Gift of Nightshade". It is possible Perda learned its location through Ashai's "Voe and You" relationship class as many Gerudo study their to learn how to properly court voe and build relationships with them.

In addition to the Side Quest, Link can find Hearty Radishes growing around the pond and a Treasure Chest in the middle of the pond that contains a Throwing Spear. The chest can be pulled out with the Magnesis Rune.

Related side quest

The side quest "A Gift of Nightshade" can be found here by speaking with Wabbin, who is standing on the "bottom" of the pond. He tells Link that he is deciding if he should speak with the Gerudo woman standing on the opposite side of the pond, whom he seemingly has a crush on. He wants Link to give the woman a Nightshade and tell her it is from Wabbin.

Going to the woman, whose name is Perda, she tells Link that she is waiting to see if the man (Wabbin) across the pond would go over to her. After giving her the Nightshade and telling her that it was from the man, the two meet and speak with each other. Perda reveals that she likes Nightshades and the two decide to date. The pair thank Link, but Perda requests that Wabbin gives Link a gift. Wabbin then gives Link a Silver Rupee.
