Mariopedia is an online encyclopedia that provides [[Mariopedia:Scope|coverage]] on ''[[Mario (franchise)|Mario]]'' and its related franchises. As a wiki, our goal is to provide as much information, but there are cases when '''censorship''' is requirednecessary for obscene and certain inappropriate content, especially images. We especially take on this responsibility because a majority of ''Mario'' and mostrelevant of its related franchises (except ''[[Conker (franchise)|Conker]]'')media were designed for a family-friendly audience in mind. The censorship policy mostlymainly applies to [[Entertainment Software Rating Board|Mature]]-rated titles (namelyand ''[[Conker'scertain Badfan Furgames. Day]]'')As andstated certainin the scope, 18+ fanon contentmaterial is not allowed on Mariopedia.
