MegaWhile Monty Molehe looks identical to an ordinary Monty Mole, however,Mega heMonty Mole is notably far biggerlarger and stronger than the average Monty Molepowerful. ==History==
Line 15:
Mega Monty Mole first appears in Mario Party 10 as the mid-boss of Airship Central in the minigame, Mega Monty Mole's Maze Mischief. During the minigame, Mega Monty Mole arrives in a flower pot being carried by a Monty Mole themed Hot-Air Balloon and the players on their Airship emerge for battle. Players need to make it through a maze on the Airship in order to reach the cannons to fire at Mega Monty Mole, whoever reaches the cannons first gets the better cannon which deals more damage to Mega Monty Mole for more points. After each attack, Mega Monty Mole will pull out a Bomb rearranging the maze, giving players a different maze to work with each time they go through it. When Mega Monty Mole is depleted of half his health, Mega Monty Mole will become enraged and every time he rearranges the maze, bombs are now also added in certain ends, which force players to avoid them. If a bomb explodes on a player, they lose a point. After his defeat, Mega Monty Mole collapses and explodes, which releases several Mini Stars.

Mega Monty Mole later reappears as a boss in Mario Party: Star Rush. In this game, he is fought in the boss minigame Mega Monty Mole's in the Hole. In this game, Mega Monty Mole now has explosive duplicates that fake out players, with the fight also now taking more of a Whack-A-Mole approach. During the minigame, Mega Monty Mole pokes out of the various holes in the ground alongside his various explosive duplicates and players (armed with their hammers) have to score hits on Mega Monty Mole to earn points whilst avoiding the explosive fakes (which cause players to lose points). The players must keep an eye on Mega Monty Mole and his explosive duplicates in order to succeed, although it is generally easy to tell the explosive duplicates apart from the real Mega Monty Mole, as the fake explosive duplicates don't move and have fuses. When Mega Monty Mole is enraged after having half of his health depleted, more of his explosive duplicates will show up, leaving more room for error and making the fight slightly harder. After Mega Monty Mole's defeat, he explodes once again like in the previous game. Mega Monty Mole can also sometimes appear as one of the bosses in Toad Scramble as well. IfLike with other bosses that appear in Toad Scramble, if players reach Mega Monty Mole first, they get to start his boss minigame much earlier and be able to get extra points before the other players getfight to Mega Monty Molehim.

Trivia
*Mega Monty Mole's artwork from Mario Party: Star Rush would later be reused for regular Monty Moles as their artwork for Mario Party Superstars and various merchandise.
*Mega Monty Mole's fight in Mario Party: Star Rush is similar to Lemmy and Wendy's fight infrom Super Mario World, dueas toboth of their fights beingare Whack-a-Mole type battles, which also involve the main boss being accompanied by fake duplicates of themself.
