Although Monty Moles were absent from the original ''[[Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga]]'', with a unique friendly species of Monty Mole called [[Presenter]]s appearingmade insteadtheir debut. However, in its [[Nintendo 3DS]] remake, ''[[Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga + Bowser's Minions]]'', bowtie wearing Monty Moles replaced the Presenters from the original, as it was confirmed by [[Play Nintendo]] that they were Monty Moles and not Presenters.<ref>https://play.nintendo.com/news-tips/tips-tricks/mario-luigi-superstar-saga-bowsers-minions-tips-tricks/</ref> The Monty Moles in the remake have the same functions and dialogue as the Presenters seen in the original ''Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga'', where they are found in hidden areas and giving items to Mario and Luigi. Like the Presenters from the original game, the Monty Moles wont give any extra items after being talked to again and instead call Mario and Luigi greedy for trying to get more items. There are 11 Monty Moles that can be found throughout ''Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga + Bowser's Minions'', being found in the exact same locations as the Presenters in the original game. However, some of the items given by the Monty Moles in the remake are different to the items given by the Presenters in the original game.

Monty Moles make their second playable appearance are a sidekick in ''[[Mario Strikers Charged]]''. TheyMonty Moles are Power Players, which means they are good at shooting and tackling, but cannot pass very well. TheirMonty Mole's [[Skillshot]] is [[Dirt Drill]], where they go underground with the ball, and dig towards the goal, andbefore then poppopping up near the [[Kritter|goalie]], and shoveshoving himthem aside, shovingto kick the ball into the goal. However, if the move is too close, Kritter will shove his hand into the ground and pull Monty Mole out, thereby blocking the shot. If the move is too far away, Kritter will simply catch the ball. This happens to be their second playable appearance in a sports title. In this game, theyMonty Moles have headlights, something that is never seen in any other game they appear in. TheMonty Mole's prominent tooth also atypically appears as a pair of teeth (which also happened in other games like the ''Mario Baseball'' titles). Monty Moles are also shown to have black dot eyes when their shocked (though their shocked expression eyes would be redesigned in future games). Monty Moles also appear in the crowds in the opening, using their design from early [[Nintendo GameCube|GameCube]] games (making it the last appearance of said design).

Monty Moles appear in the [[Wii]] version of ''[[Mario & Sonic at the London 2012 Olympic Games (Wii)|Mario & Sonic at the London 2012 Olympic Games]]'' as obstacles in [[Dream Equestrian]]. poppingMonty Moles pop in and out of their holes (like in ''Mario Kart Wii'', evenas well as reusing sound clips from that game). If the wagon accidentally hits one of the holes, a [[Yoshi Egg|Yoshi egg]] drops.

Monty Moles appear in ''[[Nintendo Badge Arcade]]'' as part of the ''Super Mario Maker'' arcade using their ''Super Mario World'' style sprites, as well as in the ''Super Mario Bros.'' arcade using their sprites''Super inMario that gameBros.'' style sprites from ''Super Mario Maker''.

Monty Moles appear in [[LEGO Super Mario|LEGO ''Super Mario'']] as part of the [[Monty Mole & Super Mushroom]], [[Desert Pokey]], and [[Yoshi's Gift House]] sets. Like most other enemies, when a Monty Mole gets stomped on by Mario, Mario gains a [[coin]] from the Monty Mole. In the Monty Mole & [[Super Mushroom]] set, Mario can fling the Monty Mole out of their burrow to then be able to jump on them.
