In the "Disappeared Monty Mole" (消えたチョロプー) strip (which takes place after "The meaning" strip), Bowser asks Princess Peach how she was able to swing Monty Mole earlier. Peach explains that she unintentionally bitten the Monty Mole's penis earlier, with Bowser yelling about how much she bitten it. Unknown to Peach and Bowser, the Monty Moles secretly overheard what they said while underground. A text box then reads that only one person and animal know the truth, as Mario comments on why that annoying character never appears again.

In the "Big hole, small hole" (大穴小穴) strip, a Monty Mole would be mentioned by Luigi after Mario got his foot stuck in a small hole, as Luigi told Mario that the hole was dug by a Monty Mole. However, the hole would shortly be revealed to have actually been dug by a Mega Mole, after Mario fell into the hole when it inexplicably grew larger.
In the "Stingy Obstacle" (コブい障害) strip, Mario is driving by several Monty Moles until he is stopped by a Mega Mole in the way of the track (exclaiming how it is stupid). A Monty Mole then tells Mario how he is not able to dodge this Mega Mole. Unfortunately, Mario simply drives over the Mega Mole, much to the Monty Mole's disappointment.
