In ''[[Dr. Mario-kun]]'', a singular Monty Mole appears as a somewhat recurring character, usually being an ally towards [[Dr. Mario]] rather than an enemy unlike in most other media. The Monty Mole in this manga uses a similar design to that of the classic sunglasses design seen in the artwork of ''Super Mario World''.
In episode 52, the Monty Mole (alongside other characters) can be seen eating the floor of Dr. Mario's hospital after eating the food that [[Waluigi]] made offscreen.
In episode 59, the Monty Mole can be seen on the final page waving in the distance along with various other characters from ''Dr. Mario-kun'' (due to it being the last episode of the manga).
