In the '''''Super Mario Daishuugou''''' volume, a Monty Mole appears in the self titled "Monty Mole" (ちょろぷ) strip, where they attempt to ambush [[Mario]] and [[Luigi]]. Unfortunately, as the Monty Mole bursted out of the ground, they quickly realize that Mario and Luigi were not there. This causes the Monty Mole to become greatly upset and start to cry (which Mario and Luigi observe from a distance).
