'''Mudboats''' are small boats apparently constructed out of mud that appear in ''[[Super Mario Sunshine]]''. They are just large enough for [[Mario]] to stand in, and can be moved by spraying [[water]] using [[F.L.U.D.D.|FLUDD]]'s Squirt Nozzle in the opposite direction of the mudboat's desired direction, pushing the boat using the spray's recoil, much like [[Lily Pad]]s. Unlike leaf boats, mudboats immediately sink if they come into contact with a wall, though there is a small window during which Mario can jump off to safety when this occurs. After being sunk in this way, mudboats reappear in the location where they were first found.
