''Parachute'' was remade with an updated "Modern" version for ''Game & Watch Gallery 2''. In this version, [[Mario]] controls the boat, trying to catch [[Toad (species)|Toad]]s, [[Yoshi (species)|Yoshi]]s, and [[Donkey Kong Jr.|Donkey Kong Jrs.]] as they parachute from a [[airship|flying ship]]. The parachuting characters open their parachutes at different times: The Toads open them immediately after jumping out of the ship, while the Donkey Kong Jrs. open them at the last minute. The farther from the ship the Yoshis jump, the sooner they open their parachutes. If a parachuting character falls into a [[cannon]], he will be blasted back out. If a parachuting character falls into the water, a [[Cheep Cheep]] will attempt to eat him; eventually, a [[Fishin' Lakitu]] will reel the fallen parachutist out of the water and place that character on dry land.
